Anybody gone into Canyon Lake? (trail from Image Lake in the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area) I'm intrigued by it on the map. General description, good for camping, pictures, etc.?

I wasn't very impressed with the lake. The name pretty well describes the setting and I prefer something more open. But if you head x-country towards Bath Lakes, the scenery gets wide open as it also does if you climb Totem Pass above Canyon Lake. Dome Peak comes into view there. I wouldn't make Canyon Lake my destination but rather a stop into that area. There are camping spots near the lake and you can also find signs of miners having been there, if that sort of thing interests you.
