No really spectacular news on this trail that hasn't already been posted by others or available in the majority of hiking books.
The weather was better than expected for our 11 - 12 mile trip on 10-9-05 from the PCT Parking lot off I-90 out to Kendall Katwalk and back. Periodic glimpses of blue and periodic bursts of fog with minimal wind and ~50 degree (F) Temps made for comfortable hiking and enjoyable day.
When we arrived at the parking lot (about 9:45am) there were about 18 other cars already parked... and about double than when we returned at about 4:00pm. With that said, it seemed we had the trail almost completely to ourselves on the way up and it wasn't until the last mile before the Katwalk did we encounter person after person and dog after dog... almost all of which (dogs & people) were personable and friendly.
