My apologies Catwoman. I was just under the impression that you had to pick this topic with your mouse in order to read it or make a post. I was also under the impression from your previous posts you (and a few others) were not in favor of this kind of humor. I stand corrected. I'm not sure a banquet room would keep it from being seen, but who knows. It's would be worth a try.
Guess I'm kinda dense over here. I don't get it.
How many times can you kick a dead horse?
Till your foot gets sore?
How many times can you view a topic without picking it?
I best drop this before everyone gets po'ed at me if they aren't already. It's pretty well done anyways.

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

NN - Before, you said why do you keep re-opening this topic. And I said I haven't been. If you look at page one, Tom opened the topic. As for "picking" the topic, yes, I've clicked on it because it's about something on this site that I find really annoying and I've wanted to get my views out and learn about other people's views and, if possible, get the annoyances to mellow out a bit. As I said before, I'm not clicking on it to read Beethoven's nonsense. If I didn't ever click on a thread because someone posted one of the stupid-type posts, then I'd never get to read the parts that AREN't of the stupid-type. When we click on a thread, we get ALL of the posts -- not just individual posts one at a time. For some reason you keep twisting that fact or not getting it or something.
One thing I find that's interesting is that (as NN said in a PM to me), this has become a discussion/argument between just a few posters, which is too bad. And we're now going around in circles. Maybe those that are doing it can see how annoyed some of us are by those posts, be a little respectful and just chill out a little or do it in PM's to each other or something.

This is such a bummer -- keep hoping I'll get in the last word, having no life and wanting to be a rabble-rouser, amongst numerous other "issues".
blah blah blah blah blah. And furthermore, yak yackity yack yuk. But to reiterate, yadda yadda yadda.
Number of replies way more than the next 10 freshest topics!! Woo-hoo yeah yeah yeah!!

Is this a new record for posts on a forum? Seems to me it is.

Ooops, Randy. Got it, including "best of 2002" a la Stefan's list, but behind over a month. Kinda swamped lately, just moved and hiking has been on the back gas burner. Hey, last word again! Life is grand, indeed!!!! {grin}

I think Carolyn and Steve should get together for dinner sometime soon.
They should be required to only discuss this one obscure topic---hiking in the Cascades.
Catwoman, feel free to pick on Beethoven all you like, heaven knows I find his posts somewhat obnoxious as well, but don't you dare pick on Tchaikovsky, or I will be forced to tickle you until you vomit green stuff, even if you haven't eaten any green stuff in a while.
OK, I may be a little punchy, it is 3:40 AM and I am just home from work.

Still getting over lunch with Tchaikovsky and Erik the conductor and their soulful buddies last weekend. We ate cello and talked about all the violins and sax in today's world. Then we picked on Allison for about 1.8 nanoseconds.

I have a hard time believing that either Erik or Tchaikovsky would have much bad to say about me, which would explain why it didn't take that long.

Maybe the four of you could double date, perhaps even invite polarbear as an honorary "guest" .
