Okay it's show and tell time! Here's what I got.

Nothing I can sing will bring you back. Not the songs of a hundred horses running until they become wind. Not the personal song of the rain who makes love to the earth.

Thanks ML. I feel better about my $5.30 dividend. Of course, that includes my total $1.55 dividend that I didn't use from 2004. Looks like I'll be taking some of that Goo energy gel on my next outing I guess. wink.gif

I've been spending too much time at sales, the basement and the outlet. I received a dividend of $3.88 on just over $700 spent.

Downtown Seattle store. Head through the bike department and down the stairs. Returned items are sold for a discount and members get an additional 10% off the listed prices.

$36.73- looks like Mrs. Polecat can get some new Thorlos after all!

ninety-eight samolians here. but even better; i got a thrill when I got to page 7 of the little catalog that came with the dividend packet & saw the delightful, smiling face of my freind, Pete, who does lots of strenuous trail work through WTA - all day, several times a month. The man's unstoppable. At first he never took breaks and worked past quitting time; but then we realized he turns his hearing aid off and doesn't hear the lunch call or 5 o'clock whistle, so we have to thump him on the head for breaks. But still, he's a workhorse. Lemme tell you what kind of a guy Pete is. I hope I don't get in trouble for relating this: but when I was the bookkeeper for WTA, a donation came in from a guy I'll call Jones, with a letter saying that Pete did lawyerin' for him, and instead of payment for services rendered, Pete asked Jones to donate the amount to WTA. That's exactly the kind of guy Pete is, and the kind of person WTA attracts. I went to an event tonight, and I knew Pete would be there, so I took the catalog and had him autograph it for me. "To my favorite fan," it reads. wub.gif Back in the late 40's/early 50's when Pete was in high-school in a small town in Texas, he took dance lessons from a divorcee. "Toots" Johnson, was her name. You can imagine how the tongues wagged! Pete never lacked a partner at the school dances - he said he danced every dance. He sure could turn a step. Anyway, that's more exciting than the 98 dollar dividend; seeing Pete's picture in the catalog, and recalling his story about Toots Johnson and the dance lessons. I'm rambling, sorry. I ramble when I'm all excited. I'll shut up now.

Lets see. I spent about $100.00 this last year. I bought my membership card (doubt they'll count that), a Sno-Park permit (doesn't count = "fee or service"), a hydration pack (on sale) and a map (sold on consignment for a local non-profit group), so my dividend will be...$0.00.
