Here's a photo of the Cowlitz River long ago (year unknown). That's Minnie Morgan (my great grandmother) who was the "flower lady" in the Pike Street market back in the 1930s and 1940s. Photographer also unknown. Karen

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

OK, more photos to come later. Tomorrow I am leading Mountaineers up Little Sigh unless everyone cancels. I'll look through some more and send the cream of the crop, a bit at a time. Thanks for your interest. Send yours too!! you just never know what is lurking in your basement or your attic (or your ancestral memories). Karen

Looking forward to them, Karen.

Be carewhat you ask for -- you may get it!!
Here's a picture taken long ago by an unknown photographer -- I do know it was somewhere on Mount Rainier (Glacier Basin?). Your guess is as good as mine. Glad you are enjoying the photos. Thank you, Karen
