Thanks for the link. I am really glad they did this restoration and hope the building remains there for a long time. Here is a link to another article about the restoration. It is very interesting how they took steps to keep the original design. https://425magazine.com/welcome-to-paradise/ Floyd and Ruth Schmoe spent a winter as caretakers at Paradise Inn in 1920. Floyd Schmoe was the first naturalist at Mt. Rainier National Park.

I have the book but it has been several years since I read it. I should read it again. Floyd Schmoe had an interesting life. He lived the entire 20th century. Born in 1895 and died in 2001
