OK, I goofed. I can't remember whether this is Sulphur Mountain (the ridge above the lake) or a ridge near Ladies Pass .... does it look familiar? Both trips occurred about the same time, late spring, but it was a long time ago. Karen

I don't recall as many trees at Ladies Pass as there are in this photo. Well, unless it's looking toward Mary Lake. (Lake Mary?) Sorry, I'm babbling again...

It looks like Sulphur Mtn. from the saddle as you look to the right up the ridge, but I can't be sure since it was July and Aug. during the times we decided to take the trail route rather than the off-trail routes we have done. McPil

Here's a shot from near Lake Mary. It's abit fuzzy, but the thing meandering through the middle is a stream, and one of the neater streams I've seen I might add agree.gif

I don’t think it is the summit ridge of Sulphur Mtn; not steep enough and too many trees. The lighting and the cornice seem like its looking west. It couldn’t be looking right from the saddle; the cornice would be leaning south. Oh wait. Let me fix that. Grunt! Grunt! Grunt! Now, That’s better. biggrin.gif ---------------
