Freakin Vehicles:
For the last two days now, I have grunted, groaned, and almost "wished" the new engine & tranny in....into my son's 1985 S-10 4x4 Blazer. And finally tonight, I can attest with my bloody knuckles, the tranny and engine (installed by me) is connected. What I "freakin" job!!! To originally get it all out, I had to pull almost everything from underneath the Bastard! I don't know how many of you have ever had a transmission on your chest, hosting, pushing, lifting, and cursing, but it is quite the experience to say the least. I have been doing this sort of thing since I was about 15 (not as a living though) and at 50 now, I am not in the mood to do that again for long, long time. At least until I replace the fly wheel in the 1965 SS 327/300 HP (4 barrel with headers) Impala I've had now for about 20 years.....engine was rebuilt piece by piece by self in 1985. No, the viper red SS Impala is not for sale. Think I'll go climbing tomorrow and escape, putting off any other "living" type work where money is earned.

PS. If I were a wealthy rich man, I wouldn't be wrenching and getting greasy at my age, though I do consider myself wealthy in friendships.....
