Has anyone hiked up to Bedal Basin in the last couple of years? I really need to find out what kind of shape the trail is in -- I'm working on a project. When I was there (summer before last) the trail was in pretty poor condition but because I had been there before I was able to get there OK. How much worse is the trail? I've read some trip reports on it but don't remember whether I read them here or on WTA. I will continue looking but if anyone has been there in 2002 I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks, Karen

hey Karen, we went up there on our way to Slowin' Pete last summer. It's somewhat brushy but you can easily follow the first 2/3 of the trail. After that we bashed up hill, so I don't know of the conditions in further. Try wta.org?
