We headed up to Lake Philippa, which is quite a scramble if you have never been!
Me paused on the log that crosses Philippa Creek large
Philippa Lake sits in a high cirque, the creek makes its way down a very steep incline and has cut a slot canyon. At 2.8 miles the trail comes to Philippa Creek crossing, if you bushwhack up the hill a ways you have a nice view of the small gorge.
Been there many times. How was the lake this time of year?
