Nice to see you have a new hiking companion to go with your new jeep. Life is good.

Nice! Eric, we slept on top of the Chumstick site about 15 years ago and were serenaded by coyotes who answered back when we howled with them. Very cool. I am amazed at the fire scar around Sugarloaf...when I went, it was occupied and the forest around it was unburned. Lovely pictures!!! up.gif up.gif cool.gif

Puzzlr and I did a winter trip up from Swakane Canyon to 5774 and over to Chumstick which turned out to be a nice traverse. I had no idea that 5774 was a lookout site too. Interesting to know. up.gif Congrats on the new family addition.

Always enjoy your TRs, Eric W. up.gif I've probably been up Poe Mt. 10 times. Views are superb from that bend in Poets' Ridge. tongue.gif
