The D3 was a milestone in backpack tech.. More than 30 years old and still going strong. Edit: A D3 recently (tonight) sold for $81.00 + $20.00 shipping on Ebay. Not bad for an old external frame backpack!

Veterans Day
The history of modern military packs seems to have come from Switzerland. This is a photo of a WW2 Swiss Pack. Today is Veterans Day. ThankYou to those who laid down their lives or got hurt so that I can post here! I still use SIGG products from the Swiss.
