This is a photo looking out of an ice cave overhanging Bench Lake up Downey Creek in the Glacier Peak Wilderness in August last summer. I'm floating in my Curtis raft with my feet hanging out the front. Didn't stay in long since it was cold and dripping huge drops and the best fish in the lake were cruising about the shallow cove in front of the cave.

Nice feet dave.... he....he.... Last year when i went to Rainier the Park Rangers refered to the (ice Caves as Snow Caves, or something like that.) They won't call them ice caves no more, i ask them. Just FYI. They look like ice caves and act like ice caves, i think. They don't because they don't want people in them, and people get them confused with the old Paradise ice caves. Wierd????
