Wow, what a great trip and photos. Robin Lakes are an amazing, amazing spot. Is there an actual trail of some kind from Paddy-go-easy pass to robin lakes, or was it all scrambly? how hard is it? One of my favorite hikes, and if I could turn it into a loop, that would put it off the charts. I love loops.

no trail. scrambly. using the Seattle Mountaineers system, I'd give it T2 for most of it, with a few shorter sections of T4-T5.

paddy-go-easy traverse
hey- after reading your inspiring account of your traverse from Paddy-go-Easy to Robin Lakes, I just had to go have a look. ( Robin lakes being one of my favorite places) Anyway- didn't have alot of time & had a dog along - but went up to the pass, dipped in Sprite & then looked around to the north to see how obvious the way towards Granite & Robin lakes would be. It wasn't terribly obvious- do you stay fairly high, or drop down some? There was a gully(2nd gully) up the red rock you mentioned that looked doable- do you head up that & then the way becomes visible & easier? I could see where the rock changes from red to granite, as you pointed out. It looks like it's about 4+ miles to Robin ? About how long did it take you guys? ( I know you camped on the way) Could a pooch do it? Any guidance would be swell!
