Drats. I have an out-of town commitment or I'd be there for sure. Big Snow is a fun and respectable goal from either the Hscrabbles or the Snowflake side. This is a fine gesture, and promises to be good company. Enjoy all, and my thoughts will accompany. EDD rides on.

Ok, here we go, I have the register and register tube, but I need some help with Ed's date of birth and I would really appreciate it if someone that knew Ed well like his brother or son could write something about Ed that I can use on the cover sheet (along with a picture of him). I feel it really needs to come from someone close and come from the Heart. If for some reason I'm not able to get someone to do this right away I can include it at a later date. That being said I would prefer to have it completed and ready for tomorrow. Thanks in advance! In Peace, Richard BTW, I'm really moved that so many folks are going to be able to make this trip Sunday. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all. Edit: Received a returned PM from Rick his brother and Included words from his Mom and from Rick for the cover page. See two posts down. Dayhike Mike Thanks in advance for the photo that I took the liberty in using.

This is a great idea, thanks a lot . Wish I was up to it this Sunday. But if its still on Big Snow the week of 21st-25th I may be able to retrieve it and place it at another location. Ed's smile has just got to be getting bigger and bigger as everyone is contributing so much. Thanks again, Oren P.S. I could add something to it at that time.

Long since I've been amongst majestic peaks nor side mirrored lakes where awe so speaks. Blanketed valleys the dawn awakes and blinking stars to fade. My soul is called to see these things, the Hand of God has made.

The lakebagger in me likes it. hockeygrin.gif Hopefully the register will rest beside a lake or two over the years, grin. I can think of one in particular that would be appropriate that Edd never made it to.

I look forward to reading that story when it is written. Who knows maybe I'll be in it. It could happen.

BTW - I finally saw the article in the P.I. and it looks like they took the liberty of using that same shot without authorization / attribution. You? You're family. Them? That really kinda pissed me off.
