This is a article about a new totem pole from the Duwamish people of present day Seattle and Tukwila. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/280878_pole11.html The Duwamish people would fish for salmon in the Duwamish River. Originally the Duwamish River system had as one of it's main tributaries the White River from Mount Rainier National Park.
