Weeknite? Not so good for me. I would have to drive from Mt. Vernon. Then get up @ 4:00 in the morning. Thursday nites would be the better as I have Fridays off. I also lean towards quieter. NN huh.gif

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

Randy, this is probably a good reason for you not to go to the drink.gif social as you may tell tales and make promises that you wouldn't otherwise lol.gif You probably also forgot that you offered to break trail for me up to SCL a couple years ago. Of course now that I know that a few college girls backpacked in there, I'm almost embarassed to ask for such a service but...cough...cough..."a promise made is a debt unpaid."

Hey, if he doesn't want to do it, I'll gladly break trail, so long as those college girls are in front of me. devilsmile.gif hmmm.gif

I almost forgot to mention this. For those who think guys packing iron have no manners, I was witness to seeing Backpacker Joe hold the door for two ladies at the social. And it looked as natural as breathing. A first class gentleman. up.gif

Awe heck, now I'm blushing! It's all a matter of being raised correctly! Thank you Mr. P-Bear. I'm affraid today to many people just dont know how to act! Kindness and curtsies are in short supply. Watch the movie "Kate and Leopold" and pay attention to how Leopold acts. Not only twords Kate, but to all people in general. There has been so much lost since the 60's. I dont only hold doors for women. You cant say thank you, I beg your pardon, your welcome, God bless you, or any other of what were once curtsies to often as far as I am concerned. Once again, thanks to P-Bear. TB

Where is the group picture? How am I going to recognize Dave when I go to the Central Market in Poulsbo?

That photo was taken in mid-July '02 about 20' out from the shore on a frozen lake in the North Fork Snoqualmie drainage. I was climbing/hiking over a swath of debris that extended across the lake from a landslide/avalanch last winter. Sorefeet and I had planned a day trip, but business forced him to cancel. It was quite warm that afternoon, as you can imagine from the photo, but I didn't get in the water. I would like to see Mr. Bentzen curtsey biggrin.gif .

If I'd known ya was gonna use bait I wouldn't a brought ya!
