The Park lakes trail isnt very brushy at all! I did it last October. I got in there in two hours. I'm flexible. I want to see Glacier, Chikamin and be up there in that ridge line. Are you guys talking about going up from the Dutch Miller Gap, or up Burnt Boot Creek? TB

Sounds like Dutch Miller. I'm sure most of the veterans here are familiar with Randy's infamous Burntboot debacle by now...and after reading that, I sure as hell don't want to go in via Burntboot. I still say via Pete & Lemah Creek though.

Well we'll decide on a route. That's not a problem. I wonder how many will go? It would be cool to get dropped off at Pete, then go out via the dutch miller trail. Have a car parked there. If that is the bloody road isnt closed. TB

Ive heard that people have gone to Edds via Burntboot. Seems like a serious case to brush city to me! I'd go down from the crest. TB

Don't know why you'd go to Edds that way. Faster and brush free via the PCT and then up and over into the cool basin just above the lake.

The lake is ugly and horrible. I don't know why anyone would ever go there. Climb Thompson instead.
