I just walked in the door. What a great time. I reek of woodsmoke. Shiz, it was way cool hangin with you and Richard. Grateful Dead, margaritas (for me and Richard), golden larches, and comfy chairs.

I had a great time putting together names and faces. I wish I could have gotten there sooner so I could have gone up to Timberwolf to watch the gliders. A great bunch with lotsa great stories.

I'm just glad it got consumed and enjoyed. I was afraid that either the wine would be lousy, or that I'd be stuck bringing leftovers home or just dumping it out.
I was also surprised at the quality of the espresso made by my backpacking espresso maker. I tried some myself on Monday morning and it was excellent. The only problem is that after making one good shot, the thing is too hot to take apart to make more.  The six-ounce weight of the thing is ruined if I have to bring asbestos gloves along.
