I've noticed there has been some discussion of glaciers disappearing and global warming. If you want to view an interesting discussion about why global warming is really a good thing, there is a video you can view that was produced by the University of Washington in 2002. "The Ends of the World: Astrobiology and Armageddon". The first 5 minutes or so are introductions and uninteresting but if you hang in there, I think you'll find the discussion interesting and entertaining. I have seen it on the UW tv channel but it is also available here on line. I tried the DSL/cable (1.5Mbps+) and only received sound. I tried it with the slower DSL/Cable (256kbps+) and it was pretty good.
