How long do the larch needles stay? Our permit is for Sept 22-26. Hoping the trees are still golden and the weather decent.

Probably won't be golden by then.

Really depends on the year and the elevation. Typically they just start changing at that time of the year, and they start from the highest elevations.
Around Sep 26, best chance for some golden larches will be around Aasgard Pass, if at all.
Not sure if fall colors will be delayed by this awesome September that we are experiencing so far, or expedited by the crappy August that we had
