Thank you, Shacknasty!
Beautiful images. The photo of Olympus masiff is sure dramtic. Makes me want to return to Olympics...but no dogs allowed (in park). Nuts.
I don't recall autumn hikes there, tho I am sure I did some...I recall doing this particular route in part. I bet it was September...many years ago.
Our highlands are blessed with beauty and an abundance of wonderful plant life that becomes fireworks in autumn!

Shack: I always admire your reports as well as your images. It is evident that you harbor a particularly sweet spot in your heart for the Olympics. GREAT work.

Another great trip report and pictures Shack.

With the ground you covered on this hike you earned the right to be tired. That would be about a week hike for me.

I agree. There have been some great reports and photos and it seems like they just keep getting better.
Do you know when they are closing the Obstruction Point Road.

Very very impressive, Shack!
I'm not sure it was entirely the heat's fault, but after Rich and I made the trek over there, I was pretty tuckered out from the trip.
Round trip in one day is pretty impressive!
