Seen in Canada...
I see a lot of these while at work; most of them are work zone related as a result...
Must be an overtime shift Can't hurt to look at it once it's placed! Any idea what this means?

Coming back from the Aberdeen area, approaching Olympia, there is a freeway sign, placed next to a little valley with a small hill on the other side, which says "Mt Rainier (in distance)". Apparently the "in distance" is so that people don't think the tiny hill about 100 yards away is Mt Rainier.

If it's the sign I think you're talking about, it's actually right around the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge? That sign isn't there anymore, they removed it about 3 or 4 years ago... or maybe 2 years ago. It was right before exit 114, and you could see Mt. Rainier popping up over the hill in front of it - I agree, it was pretty funny! Maybe there's another sign somewhere outside of Aberdeen, I haven't seen that one, but I know the one at exit 114 is gone.
I don't have a picture, but there is a sign on the revolving hand towel things in the women's bathroom on one of the San Juan ferries that reminds folks to not place your head in the towel loop. I'm glad I read that, because I was just about to do that.

I never understood why this sign was needed.

No idea. I had seen it before and googled it. Found it by image searching for "stpo".

Here's one that's been floating around work. From the Wenatchee area.
It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.
