So, I wanted to go and try to get some shots of Sulphide Creek Falls. That plan went horribly awry when my fitness level met the slope. Tales of the pitch are true. For our intrepid/insipid band of travelers, the hoped 1 hour rapidly became a leisurely/heart attack laden 3. It has a few rest spots, including a nice rock bluff that overlooks to the south. I think I will do it as a 2.5 day trip next summer. Up in the evening after work. Saturday into the area I wanted to go, and sunday back.
Anyways, we stayed on the shore of Little Shuksan lake. This was after some confusion on what those mud puddles at the top of the ridge were. There are 2 or 3 different areas around the lake to camp at. I felt no urge to drop down into Shuksan Lake itself.
