Hey, you think I'M bad - rubberlegs has borrowed my copy of Garner's Dictionary of American English Usage. Give him a few days to soak up some knowledge from that book and see just how irritating irritating can be (wow, I used "irritating" as both a verb AND a noun!)

Quark, the way I read it it is a predicate adjective or is it? I just don't know how one word can use up 3/8 of the 8 parts of speech. It's trying to manifest destiny I guess.

English is such a MESSED up language! My parents are from Denmark and Sweden. They tell me that learning english was a turbo bummer because it just doesn't make an sense!
