Who has been to the old NIKE missile site atop tiger mountain? I have been eyeing it on my map and it looks like it would be a nice little day hike. I have heard there is a concrete foundation. Can anyone confirm this?
Nobody has been to that site on Tiger mountain, because that site is on Cougar mountain.

Haven't been there meself. I spent my childhood playing on Tiger. Then, as fate would have it I grew up! After that I went east, young man, went east! Squak and Cougar have always kind of bored me!
Turbo (diesel) bummer!

The missiles were at a site along claypit road, not too much to see now but the foundations. The radar site (they were beam riding missiles) is now a publicpark with a big field. Great for frisbees and kites with a nice view. If you go on the trail you can see more foundations. You can start on many of the trails nd walk down. It is nice this part of the year when the backcountry is treacherous (chopper rescue on Granite today ).
