A friend of mine always carried one, and I finally decided I needed one too. I looked and looked for a sloth (my spirit animal tongue.gif ) and found the cutest little guy, but lost him on our first trip out frown.gif But here is my new friend, Sammy, who was given to me for my 55th birthday. biggrin.gif (Sammy is named after Sammy Hagar of "I can't drive 55" fame. Because of my age...clever, right? lol.gif ) Anyway, here's my birthday story, but I also want to see a pic of your buddy if you have one. https://kellbell-whywouldanyonereadthis.blogspot.com/2023/06/happy-birthday-to-me-again.html

I know I can use my puffy for a pillow*, but cant beat the real deal. *1st to get tossed if I'm being ruthless about weight.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference. Robert Frost

This is HOOTY. I forget where I found him. Doesn't add much to the pack weight.
