Do you know Dallas String Quartet? They do some nice classical music versions of various well known pop songs.

Haven't heard of them, I'll definitely check them out. Thanks!

I'm borrowing Delain's first album from Hoopla, some good stuff on there. Frozen is probably my favorite song of theirs, but several other good songs.

I'm the guy with a big head of blond hair right at the front of the stage. Thunderstorms ended about 30 minutes before they hit the stage, then it was beautiful and sunny for the rest of the show.
I was in mid tour here, Boise was the night before, drove to Denver after the show and saw the 3 nights at Red Rocks then flew to NYC to start college. Youth was not wasted on this young person, I knew that NOW was the time and right here was the place. I was fully aware that we were living it - Be Here Now! I don't need to be 22 again as I did it right when I was. I'm glad I'm old because this type of thing won't happen again for at least a couple of millennia. I joined the circus - it was awesome!

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.

What's this? To my untrained ear, I think I found an example of the "millennial whoop" from way back in 1970! Darn you Cat Stevens, you ruined pop music, it just took about 3 or 4 decades to take hold. If it's not the same thing, it's awfully darn close.
I'm pretty sure the millennial whoop was brought up in this or one of the other music threads before.

Just a lil' bit of Psychedelic Country for your Friday evening. The saying "turtles all the way down" goes back at least to the 19th century. ~z

Just stumbled on this yesterday after I shut off the Borat movie because it was way too far over the top:

Between every two pines is a doorway to the new world. - John Muir
