While on the subject...I always liked this song's intro

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Johnny Winter was a great guitarist. I saw him live at The Backstage in Ballard. And gotta luv brother Edgar's alto solo on that, reminiscent of Ornette Coleman. I've been listening to something a bit cooler, Sonny Rollins with Oliver Nelson, arranger and ensemble leader:

Remember the amazing music video involving hundreds of people riding one wheeled scooters? OK GO's other videos are almost as cool:
........and there are lots more where those came from! I think they must put as much thought into creating these videos as go into the songs themselves.

Went to a diamonds concert yesterday, a band that has been around since the 50s! It was a very polished act, which shouldn't be that surprising as the band does 120 performances a year! A lot of good renditions of a variety of classic 50s and 60s songs.

This piece, known as The Waldstein (also known as Music to Read Long Trip Reports By), was dedicated by Beethoven to his good friend and patron, Count Waldstein up.gif up.gif
as performed by Chilean pianist Claudio Arrau

Take risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping I may not have anyone rocking my world right now but, I don't have anyone messing it up either.

Welcome to 1973. This was back when you had to have talent to be in a band.
