^^^ Thanks for that one, Older. One of my favorite tunes from one of my fave Emmy Lou albums. I'd never seen that live clip. up.gif After hearing yesterday that Fountains of Wayne lost their tunesmith Adam Schlesinger to COVID, I've been playing this lesser-known tune of theirs that I loved. Discovered them b/c it was used as the catchy background music to an LL Bean commercial many years ago:

I recently stumbled over the "Gerswin Prize for Popular Music" concerts. They are a blast. And - guess what - because these awards are for "popular music" you already know the words for most of the songs. You're stuck at home right? Good for you - doing your part. Now go to https://www.loc.gov/about/awards-and-honors/gershwin-prize/ pick your favorite concert and rock out baby.

Leonid and Friends. A Russian Chicago cover band. When I first heard of this band I thought..."what the..." but I can't stop listening. I'm not even really a Chicago fan...

Yet again, I urge everone to listen one of the most original and unique performers of the "modern" era...the man, the myth, the spotlight kid,,, Capt. Beefheart (Don Van Vliet). You will thank me...perhaps.

Emmylou Harris was fairly prolific. I've heard many of her albums, but missed some. Wasn't aware of this song til it started popping up on some of my Pandora stations. It's a gem!

I've known about Cheryl Wheeler for quite a while (my brother is a big fan), but kinda forgot about her. She just started popping up on Pandora for me and reminded me of her.
