Why Do Witches Burn?

For some reason no one ever gets behind my idea to rename American "football" to "handegg." I mean c'mon - "football" is what the rest of the world calls a sport wherein an actual round ball is manipulated with the feet and the use of hands is forbidden. "Handegg" is a sport wherein an egg-shaped "ball" is manipulated largely by the hands and kicking it around in anything other than a kicking play is not a smart thing to do.

You mad bro? He apologized for pooping a football. It's garbage. Bush league. NO CLASS. Google it if you're still in denial. But this is the saloon. My opinion doesn't matter anyway. I don't even post TR's. Edit - I didn't realize you are Slugman! Activating ignore feature.

Seahawks first draft choice, from the second round, is a gentleman that got kicked off the Michigan Football team because of a domestic abuse incident. Maybe some of that Seattle Pot will mellow him out?

Also busted for home invasion for busting into a dorm room and stealing a laptop a few years back. I guess that's easy to forget about after reading the police report on the DV. Sounds like a great guy otherwise though, I'm sure she just fell or deserved it. (note: sarcasm)

Yay, my first recruit! The only real complication I can foresee in getting the sport renamed is that we already have an NHL. Maybe it'll be the NHEL, or is that too many letters?

Just one more month to go until Week 1 when the Seahawks play the Rams, first game instead of the last for once (it seems). Then on to Green Bay... Should be a fun season! Go 'Hawks!

I hope so. We are going to the game in Green Bay this year.

I'm envious. The Green Bay game should be a blast, regardless of the outcome, especially since it's September and not Decembrrr.

Shaping up to be like last year, it's not how you start, it's how you finish. Very tough schedule this year and the O line and secondary are worse this year.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Agreed CJ. It is only game one, but I don`t feel as opimistic as last year. The defense in particular really looks worrisome. Having Cam out is hurting the Hawks and I doubt that will be resolved soon. Green Bay next, ouch....

We definitely don't have the depth this year we had last. But, remember that we were 3-3 to start last season so much too early to be panicking. Still, WTF is up with an on-side kick to start OT? That's just bizarre.

It was supposed to be a pooch kick but Hauschka didn't hit it right. Still, no need to resort to gimmickry. http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/seahawks/seahawks-trick-kick-in-ot-was-his-mistake-says-hauschka/
