Vikings played well. Not sure we would have fared better than NO.

Every game has to come down to the wire with this team, stressful!

In 2 weeks it will be the 2 wildcard teams, Seahawks and Vikings playing for the conference title.

I thought home field advantage was critical. Not so much this year, 3 out of 4 visiting teams won the Wild Card round.

In Seattle!

What are the odds that Seahawks would play the Eagles twice this year and the score of both games would be 17-9? I guess it was 100% wink.gif

That one was fun. Seahawks played playoff football for sure. Green Bay next week.... and I like our chances! Where are the GB fans out there on the site??? (Iron Mike wink.gif ) I am ready for some banter and I know you guys are still stinging from that loss in 2014....

This is shaping up perfectly...first the Pats are out, the Vikings defense is playing at a top level, Garapolo is susceptible to mistakes while under pressure. The Vikings running game is clicking, so a Seahawks-Vikings matchup would be the ultimate, ....still would rather beat the 40 whiners...and then we have Russ against Jackson in the SB, no matter who wins, it would be a perfect outcome.

Seahawks going to green bay was my best scenario. The packers had one if the easiest schedules this year, also lowest strength of victory among playoff teams. I see a close game as all hawks games are. Beast mode will be a force.

CJ, I wouldn't count out Kansas City. They beat the ravens in the regular season.

Top four passing teams by yards: Tampa Bay, Dallas, Atlanta, LA Rams. None made the playoffs. Top four running teams: Baltimore, Santa Clara, Seattle, Tennessee. All four still alive. The Saints have been choking in the playoffs for a long time now. Marshawn started it, back in 2010. The Vikings now got them twice. Rams last year. When was the last time Seattle had 6 more sacks than their opponent?

In Hawks vs. Eagles wildcard playoff Wilson accounted for 96% of offense. So Green Bay' s D scheme just got easier. Stop Wilson = stop Hawks. And Clowney' s hit on Wentz should have been called, maybe Clowney disqualification regardless of intent. It was careless and reckless and unnecessary

I like KC's offense a lot, their defense, not so much, but they are definitely fun to watch.

For some reason Green Bay doesn't impress me much, at this point I would rather play them rather than any other team still left, even though they dismantled the Vikings a few weeks ago, not sure what's up with that? Although Cousins played way over his head last week, don't expect that again and Rogers is just Rogers. I agree that Clowney should have been called for a personal foul, the way he lowered his helmet to Wentz's was very unnecessary since he was already down.

Meh. Just another way to make football less like football. Marginal late hits happen all the time. No one would have said anything if it was a running back. Oh wait, no one did say anything. The announcers passed it by. No Eagles players got in Clowney's face or tried to start a fight. Wentz got up and went back to the huddle. Even on the replays they showed later when Wentz headed to the locker room, no one even questioned it as a cheap shot. Wentz has been injured often enough to know better than go head first, he could have gone down feet first and avoided the whole thing. Russell has learned that after taking a beating his first few seasons. Defensive players are going to take the opportunity to put hits on the QB - that's what they do. At 9:10 of the 2nd qtr, Russell threw the ball just as two defensive players got to him. The play had been blown dead for delay of game, but one of the defenders had RW around the waist, spun him 'round and tossed him down anyway. This stuff happens all the time. While not the same impact as Wentz, it was still unnecessary - it's just what defensive players do.
