Quote:
Forest Service Chief Dale Bosworth is retiring after nearly six years in a job where he helped the Bush administration increase timber sales, allow more oil and gas drilling on government land and discontinue some recreation fees.
I wonder what fees he eliminated?

IT'S THE PITS
Was it last winter when they said that we didn't have to have a FS trailpass at certain trailheads that didn't have established pit toilets?

I think it was Congress that passed the latest version of Fee Demo, RAT. I'm trying to figure out if Chief Bosworth was involved with that. But would that both Congress and the FS work together in eliminating the nuisance fees. hmmm.gif up.gif up.gif

ThankYou Touron. Gosh, if we start talking about things that we are not supposed to (politic's) talk about we'll all end up in the sh## house.

The bad news is that if we end up there (the house, that is) we will have to pay a fee because by definition it implies this is a site with ammenities, i.e. fee can be charged. down.gif down.gif
