I've done this trail but, it was on a mountain bike. It's been around 5 years since I've been back there so I don't know if that's changed. It is a nice forest walk. It does'nt stick to the river the whole way. The elevation gain is not to much. Can be pretty muddy if they still allow mountainbikes. Only views I remember were near the beginning of the trail before it drops down to cross the river. Hope this helps.
