dicentra: This is a real "sleeper" of an area. A tiny bit of true rain forest (135 inches of rain annually) that was saved somehow from the main logging. Go to Montesano, and Lake Sylvia State Park. Walk down and cross the outlet dam and take the trail downstream. Unbelievable greenery. Probably the most groundcover mass in the state this time of year. Truly splendid.
