I've not been up to the Olympic Hot Springs since the latest road washout. I'm considering strolling up there tomorrow. I've heard it's pretty sketchy to cross the new slide.
Does anyone have any fresh intel?

Damien, thanks for the e-mail. You're intel was exactly on target. If you made it up there Saturday, I guess we must have been in different puddles. Sorry I missed you, I would have preferred to say thanks in person.
It was very nice up there this weekend, not crowded (at least compared to mid-summer weekends I suppose), only 4 sites occupied at the campground. I had the best pool all to myself for several hours this morning - sometimes it pays to be an early riser.

Guess that means it wasn't a problem to get there?

No problem at all getting to the springs. The park service has cut a nice short section of trail on either side (down into, then back up out) of the washout, and tied both together with a footlog. Easy.
