Here's an old post-card from 1947 - copyright E.C. Cropp Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1947). I have a bunch of these on the dam and the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project if anyone wants to see more.

OK, here's another one from the same group. On the back of the postcard it reads "Joe Hodgin, Eastern Washington woolgrower, takes his sheep across the top of the Grand Coulee Dam for summer grazing in the forests of Northern Washington. Shown in the picture are 2,600 (count 'em) sheep. The distance across the top of the dam is 4,173 feet."
I have more but everything about my computer is SLLLOOOOWWWWW. I'll send a few more later.

I tried counting the sheep, but I dont think it is possible! Once you get near the end of the line they are packed to tight to count.

I tried counting the sheep too, but I can't get past 26. I keep falling asleep for some reason.
