I was just over at the WSDOT page and I saw this headline: At 2:00 pm, Thursday May 15th, the gates will be opened to passenger vehicle and bicycle traffic. Chinook Pass is designated as a National Scenic Byway and is an entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Commercial vehicles are prohibited. Now it feels like Spring has arrived.

Thanks for the info. James! TB
