Well, I appreciated all of the pointers. My trip was sort of last minute so I just took an easy approach and camped near Fish Lake (in my car) and fished there for a bit. Can't say I did real well.
The rest of the trip was mainly driving around, and looking at the sights. I saw a movie in Wenatchee and had breakfast in Leavenworth. The next day, I went at fished at a lake near Ellensburg. Didn't get anything sadly. A pic of the lake-
