I had a very nice time with Karen and a group of Mountaineers on Sunday. I have done Johnson several times in the Summer but this was my first time with some snow. Best of all, I have hiked most of the trails in the Teanaway but this trip included two new ones for me. It was my first time on the Jungle Creek trail up to the Johnson Creek trail intersection and my first time on the Way Creek trail. Karen suggested a loop and I was all for it. It was a hot morning but some clouds cooled it down to perfect hiking weather. There is some snow but it was not much of a problem. Jim did a great write-up on this scramble. I don't have anything to add except a couple of photographs and to emphasize what a nice scramble this is. I can't believe I actually was able to show Jim a couple of trails he hadn't hiked yet. Jim has covered a lot of territory. Jim, I eagerly await your photos! Karen
