Well, I went back to the Manastash Ridge area to check on some Bitterroot. This was my main purpose and I was delighted. The last time I was there a few were still small buds.
What a difference a week and a half make. In one area some are really coming on, in another they are just opening up and in still another they are just budding.
The Larkspur are probably in their prime as are the blue Camas. The Onions are about ready to open. The Big Headed Clover is on the way out as is the Balsam Root. Shooting stars are done there.
Scared off 6 deer and 4 Quail.
Was a hot day and got sunburnt thru the car windows. Was an A+ kinda day for this dude.
I'll need to look these up when I have a chance.

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.
