It's between 85-90 degrees in my home/office. (wimp emoticon) I've got everything open and fans blowing and it's just doesn't cool down on days like this. frown.gif

Geez, I am about ready to ride da bicycle home from work. At least the bike has air conditioning. But, the motor starts petering out in hot weather. I only get about 0.1 horsepower for some odd raisen.

Newbie Newt just loves it. I was born in July so I'm in my zone. Drove thru Startup a bit ago and it was 94+/-. 91 at my place. ahhhhhhh NN up.gif

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

I, too, fear the yellow orb. shakehead.gif I am spending Sun, Mon and Tues. in a cabin at Kalaloch. (Its the last week of two-for-the-price-of-one). biggrin.gif Tanja, Daisy and I will be basking in the mild temps and soothing rhythms of the Pacific. I will have no hike this week. bawl.gif I guess a beach walk at Ruby counts as a hike, right? cool.gif

Hey, I was born in July too, and I hate heat like this! I can tolerate up to about 80 well, after that I start to piss and moan. Of course, I hate heat like this even more during this time of year, because it means pollen is out en mass, and my nose is running as high as the rivers are. vent.gif *ugh that vent made me hot, time to step into a cold shower* agree.gif

Alas, and here I thought this site was packed with HEARTY individuals! The W I M P emoticon should be getting a TURBO workout on this post! Come one now, chins UP! The Great pacific Northwest is truly the place on earth to be with weather like this! TB PS, yes I have been around the world enough to make a statement like that! winksmile.gif agree.gif winksmile.gif

10:40 pm and my house is finally down to 82 degrees. I've had fans on for hours. It's finally time to go to bed. I doubt I'll sleep much...

a heated argument
You will never hear me complain about weather like this but if you do, please doh.gif me. rant.gif We get enough rain and schmucky weather to last a millenium, so when we finally get some sun all I can do is biggrin.gif Just drink.gif plenty of fluids and you will be a- up.gif If you disagree with this post, then check where you are--yep, just as I figured, in the cool confines of your home or office where you shouldn't be complaining. Now take your computer outside and post a complaint like a real complainer. agree.gif

A bit pricey @ around a $1 a tab but when this was prescription-only more like $3 each. It's worth it to me for the relief. I still get an occasional very minor stuffy nose & sneezing, but the antihistimine keeps those to a tolerable level.
