Got this email from a friend of mine today; anyone out there know any info? My initial response to him was "tell him to start at the library" wink.gif

I have a challenge for you. Sometime in the sixties (I think) there was a bank robber that very carefully tunnelled to a Seattle (or Seattle area?) bank. After tunnelling to the bank wall, he chickened out and waited a year before returning to attempt the robbery. He was eventually caught. Can you find any good references on the web about this? A friend of ours especially needs to know relevant dates so that it can be looked in newspaper archives.
