I bet them granite slabs near the top of the section between Tuck and Lower Robin would be slicker'n cat snot on a wet silk scarf with a little warm wet snow on them!!!

Attached is a picture of me as we were heading out of Robin Lakes one beautiful snowy AUGUST morning several years back. You bet the granite was slick. 'course the sun was shining by the time we hit Hyas Lake.

Hey, that shot was taken way before all the high tech fabric stuff. I prolly have more miles hiking in jeans than anything else. Check out that 1975 REI external frame backpack!

Attached is a picture from last weekend. Overcast, snowing, quiet - beautiful. I would have enjoyed it much more if I hadn't spent the previous hour in constant rain and now standing wet and shivering. Took one picture, gave up on getting to Robin Lake that day, had some food, and scurried down to the warm rain at Hyas.
