I'm planning on a trip to Hester Lake this weekend. Can anybody tell me what conditions are like. I assume they are stil snowy and muddy and I've read that the snow line is supposed to be 5000-6000 ft. Can anybody tell me more?

Snow line is more like 2700'-3000' around that area. Snow and more snow. Even something as low as Ollalie Lake still has 8' of snow around the shores.
