I recently moved here from Michigan. I've found one person in my office who likes to go hiking as much as I do. I will be open just about every weekend in July and want to hike the Olympics any suggestions? Anyone up for some weekend hikes at that time or before? I'm so sick of crying the blues to my one hiking friend.

Why wait for July?! There's snowshoeing to be done! Or maybe even a nice jaunt on the beach! cool.gif I'm wanting to get over to the Olympics more this year, too. Let's keep in contact and maybe we can hook up. Where are you? I'm in Pierce County.

My daughter will be with her father at that time, so I free without getting a sitter. She's two and I've been packing her all year. The total with pack is about 32 pounds now. I would enjoy doing some day hikes though... cat...

Mustang, if you don't mind hiking with a beginner I would love to go hiking. Can't go this weekend though, I have a three day weekend every other week. Tuesday the 12th is good. Nothing over ten miles and I do not snowshoe...yet, maybe someone will teach me and get me hooked. I live in Snohomish County and have been hiking lowland trails in Skagit County.

I don't mind at all I am one as well beginner I mean. I live in Vancouver, WA I hike the gorge area quite a bit. I'm too cool with 10 miles. I have never snowshoed either but I believe Catwoman would be willing to teach us both. I'd love to go.
