Join accomplished climber, Christine Boskoff as she shares stories of her many adventures. Christine has successfully climbed six of the world's fourteen 8,000 meter peaks, including Mt. Everest(29,028) Lhotse(27,940) Cho Oyu(26,898) Broad Peak(26,400) Shishapangma(26,397) Gasherbrum II(26,360). Additionally, she has summited more 8,000 meter peaks than any other American woman and is the first American woman to summit Lhotse. In addition to her extraordinary accomplishments on the world's loftiest summits, Christine will be sharing stories and narrating slides from her recent climbing trip to Tibet. In the fall of 2001, Christine Boskoff and Charlie Fowler successfully summited a number of new routes in the infrequently visited high mountains of eastern Tibet. Place: The North Face Time: 7pm Date: January 18th, 2002 Cost: FREE! This was a controversial post at Cascadeclimbers.com, so I thought it should be posted here since you folks don't spray! I saw the preliminary show and it was awesome and inspiring. The last show she did at TNF was great as well, so don't miss it!

I just like that the main page of the forums abbreviated this topic as "An evening with Christ..." You pushin' your religious beliefs in here again, scot'teryx? moon.gif

I thought that was very interesting as well and clicked on it thinking "This is gonna be a hot topic" only to find out it was a hottie topic. Thanks for the post scot'teryx, it sounds cool, I'm always up for a nice slide show when it's raining around here.

I used to work with Mountain Madness. I went to Gasherbrum 2 with her. How did you guys know I went up Jumbo mountain with her? I FEEL THE PRESENCE OF A CAT NEARBY!!!!! For those of you folk concerned about Rainy Lake up the middle fork and letting people know about that "hidden trail" on Rainy Creek--she has been up that trail and to Rainy Lake too!!!!!!

Art is an adventure.
