4 acres isn't alot but you've got to love this kind of mentality especially in a celebrity.... OLD SAYBROOK, Connecticut (Tuesday, July 29) -- Katharine Hepburn wanted four acres of beachfront property near her Connecticut home to become protected land. Hepburn died last month at the age of 96. Her will was filed with the Old Saybrook, Connecticut, probate court. The will says land adjacent to her home should be donated to a government or conservation organization to be preserved to benefit the general public. According to the will, Hepburn didn't want a memorial or funeral service. She wanted her body cremated and her ashes interred in a family plot. Hepburn's Oscars and other awards, scripts, photographs, letters and costumes will go to charitable organizations, and executors should decide which documents should be published. Most of the actress's estate will go to her family. The will doesn't show how much Hepburn's estate is worth.
