After reading the Angela and Jacqui's last report on wta, I have to ask, what is happening to the babes of yore? Few exclamation points, no shutterbug references, no self reference as hiker babes. I had to double check and make sure the trip report wasn't about Mt. Si or some other vanilla peak. Have they buckled under to pressure, settled for the status quo, or are they evolving into something yet to be determined? If you have read this far, then please voice your opinion.

They were my favorite Happy Hikers!, I think I can safely say they must have found out they were being mocked and lampooned and toned it down some. I still counted one exclamation mark and that damn smiley face in their last report, FYI. Maybe no Japanese tourists clicking away anymore due to the stagnant Japanese economy. I always got a sense from their reports that one of them is a dog- the canine variety, not in the descriptive sense. That reminds me that I really hate those incredibly lame trip reports written from a dog's point of view you see every now and then. !!!! :0) :0) :0)
Catwoman, search the WTA trail reports by Angela and Jacqui-Hiker Babes and you should eventually come across the report(s) we are talking about.

Agreed :0) But they began to get on my nerves after bringing up the cliched camera-clicking Japanese tourist reference more than once, making 'em sound like ignoramusses IMO. They never did bring up any overplayed Beatles tunes, to their credit.

Could it be they are Japanese?

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

Emoticons serve their purpose. Beattles songs are just all right with me, as long as their endings aren't too long. The Babes were a breath of fresh air and every word they wrote was golden in my book. The ones they are writing now, however, are just the words of mere mortals. Without the exlcamation points and camera clicking references, it descends to the pablum of the common man. I am sad that they have abandoned their very original style and genre. I hope they will see the error in there weighs. If this post does nothing more than to serve to help get them back on track, then it is not a waste of words.
