North Cascades
From Marblemount on Saturday smokey joe was in full effect. All the way to Rainy Pass it was pretty hazy besides I turned around for the Easy Pass trailhead. Great day besides but suckin in smoky air up that pass was a little raspy. At least the sunbeams brought out the cathedral in the place. Props for your wilderness ethic and to those who keep the N Cascades the treasure they are. peace

Hmmm, very interesting? Should I guess, no I think not. Imagination sometimes is good enough. As far as the North Cascades go: there are not too many places as grand...beats most all other regions in Washington for wild remoteness. And sometimes, SOME places are just better left less talked about in descriptive route ways IMHO. McPil
